Cookie Policy

This page lists everything plix.fun stores on your device, why, and for how long. It covers cookies as well as equivalent technologies such as localStorage and tracking pixels.
1. How we ask for your permission
Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because the site cannot work without them. Everything else depends on where you are:
- EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Brazil. Nothing analytical or advertising-related loads until you press "Accept". Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and refusing costs you nothing on this site.
- Rest of the world. Analytics and advertising technologies run from your first visit, and the banner tells you how to turn them off.
- Everywhere. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of advertising technologies and you cannot accidentally turn them back on.
Your choice is remembered for 12 months, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time from cookie settings.
2. Strictly necessary
These make the site function and remember your decisions. They cannot be switched off and they never feed advertising.

3. Analytics
These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and which campaigns brought them, so we can improve the site. They only run with your permission.

Google Analytics runs with IP addresses truncated and Google Signals disabled, and we keep the data for 14 months. Vercel Web Analytics also measures page views but stores nothing on your device and identifies no one, so it runs at all times.
4. Marketing
These measure whether our ads work and let us show PLIX to people likely to be interested. They only run with your permission, and never when Global Privacy Control is on.

Meta cookies are only present while an advertising campaign is running.
5. Changing or withdrawing your choice
- Use cookie settings — it is also linked at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.
- When you withdraw consent we delete the corresponding cookies from your browser straight away; scripts already loaded in the open tab stop receiving data on your next page load.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all offer per-site controls). Blocking the strictly necessary ones may break parts of the site.
- Turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser opts you out of advertising technologies automatically, on every site that honours it.
6. Third-party sites
Our pages link to Kickstarter, YouTube, Discord and social networks. Once you follow one of those links, that provider’s own cookie policy applies and we have no control over it.
