Peloponnes
Bid for land and buildings, feed your people, weather the disasters

A digital version of Irongames' Peloponnes by Bernd Eisenstein, an auction game of ancient Greek civilizations over eight rounds. Each round tiles of land and buildings come up in the middle, and everyone bids on them in turn order; outbid, you move your coins on the spot. Land must share a resource with what it is laid against, buildings bring prestige, and your people have to be fed. Earthquakes, droughts, plagues, tempests and decline gather a chit at a time and strike on the third. At the end prestige and population are counted separately and the smaller of the two is your score. One to five players around the table, any seat can be the robot, or play the solo game against the levels.
